The AAUL Project (Agent Auto Update Linux)

The AAUL project was designed to simplify system administration across heterogeneous server fleets. It provides a fast, single control plane to run commands, manage packages, apply security updates, and check server status without compromising network security.

Security & Architecture

Unlike traditional administration software (such as direct Ansible or SSH tunnels) that require open inbound ports on nodes, AAUL uses a reverse polling model. The agent initiates contact with the dashboard, keeping your servers closed to unsolicited incoming traffic.
